So far...

To catch all of you up to speed...

Naturally, our flight out of SDF was delayed, so we sat in the airport for a good two hours waiting for a Delta flight from Orlando to touch down so we could take off. Our already tight connection in Cincinnati became even tighter. Cut to Scott and I running (or walking briskly) across CVG to make our connection - which we did with a few minutes to spare. The flight looked about 1/3 empty, so we spread out. Scott even had room to lie down.
The flight from CVG to Gatwick was smooth and quick - we came in about 45 minutes early!

After landing, we made our way to the train, where we were introduced to British prices with a smack in the face - about $60 for our ticket into the city.

Making our way into the city, we found our hotel (thanks, L-3). We checked in, cleaned and dressed up, and dragged our tired bodies to the train station yet again to travel out to Farnborough for the show.

Scott tried to look nice for the camera.

I can't enough about the show - it's unlike anything I've ever been to. Enormous planes, strange UAVs, weird technologies - it's all there.

At the heart of it all are our booths - GE-Aviation and L-3. They're incredible. I don't mean to toot my own horn, but they easily outclass every other booth in the pavillion. Scott and I were pretty flabbergasted at how well the turned out. He has pictures.

One final note to catch you up. There was this lady on the way back from the show who kept talking very loud on her phone (naturally, she was American). She completely disregarded the "Quiet Zone" section within which she was seated, so Scott and I decided to be snarky and take a video of her yappin' on her phone. Enjoy.

That should catch you up for now. Scott has some things to talk about (as do I), but I haven't slept well for about 36 hours and I'm headed to bed.

Chip, chip, guv'nuh.

Well done, sirs.
You should toot your own horns!

Loved the loud American footage!

Stupid American.

Did you tell her that these colors don't run?

Not to toot your own horn, but beep-beep.

Oh, by the way, we Brits love it when Yanks try to mimic our accent. Please do your best Mary Poppins when ordering a pint at the pub or asking directions. Brilliant.

Is Scott's tie a clip-on?
